CADREX - Customer Service Representative III

Overview

Enter and process customer orders, resolve issues, track shipments, manage inventory.

Tasks

-Partners with shipping staff to ensure correct delivery terms and customer requirements -Answers phone, mail, and email queries and correspondence -Receives orders, tracks progress of orders with various internal teams, and follows up on customer inquiries and issues, order shortages, shipment discrepancies, and/or damaged product -Manages inventory programs for applicable customers to include reviewing forecasts, managing on hand inventory, and running Pull reports -Maintains open order reports for individual customers and provides updates and tracking information -Verifies purchase orders received for accuracy in part numbers, price and billing information -Records and files orders -Maintains customer name and shipping information -Enters customer orders, changes, and other data into the computer system -Participates in inter-company meetings such as Production, Strategic Customer Service and Customer Service staff meetings -Provides timely and accurate information to customers on order status and product knowledge requests -Confers with production, shipping, warehouse, and third-party carriers to expedite or trace missing or delayed shipments, or order shortages -Reviews purchase orders prior to order entry

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. -Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals ? -Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence ? -3 - 5 years’ related experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting preferred -High School Diploma -Attention to detail and quality
