The Role
Overview
Drive regional sales of solar street lighting to municipalities in LA/MS.

Tasks
-Identify & Develop Opportunities: Build and manage a pipeline of projects, closing deals that drive regional expansion. -Travel & On-Site Meetings: Regularly meet with city, county and municipal leaders in person to build strong, trust-based partnerships. -Market Expansion & Standardization: Lead municipal sales efforts, positioning Fonroche as the go-to solution for solar lighting adoption. -Client & Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for municipalities, ensuring long-term engagement and repeat business. -CRM & Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate forecasting, reporting, and collaboration within CRM tools. -Go-to-Market Strategy: Explore new sales and market development strategies to accelerate growth.

What You Bring
-Ability to Travel: Regular travel is required to meet with customers and develop the region effectively. -Strategic Thinking & Market Development: Ability to assess market trends and drive standardization efforts across regions. -Industry Knowledge (Preferred): Experience in public sector sales, lighting, infrastructure, or sustainable technology is a plus. -Resilient & Goal-Oriented: A self-starter with strong listening and sales skills who thrives on achieving targets. -Tech-Savvy & Organized: Proficiency in CRM tools, email, and standard business systems for reporting and forecasting. -On-Site Requirement: This role will be based in our New Orleans coworking space when not traveling for client meetings. -Product Expertise & Presentations: Become proficient in solar lighting principles and present the technical and cost-saving benefits to clients. -Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to engage, present, and negotiate with government officials, partners, and contractors. -B2B Sales Success: A proven track record in business development, consultative sales, or municipal sales.
