The Role
Overview
Collect field data for sewer surveys, operate equipment, perform inspections
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-CCTV Inspections - conduct robotic video inspections of wastewater sewer pipelines in accordance with NASSCO PACP, MACP, and LACP standards. -Flow Monitoring - install & maintain open channel flow metering equipment. -Performing field investigations by collecting high quality and accurate data. -Hardware and Software troubleshooting, support, repair, and testing. -Dye Testing - conduct dye water tracing and dye water flooding. -Maintenance Hole Inspections - record various structure attributes and identify defects. -Night Flow Isolations - measure wastewater flows during non-peak usage. -Smoke Testing - conduct smoke tests and record defects encountered. -Operate sewer cleaning and vacuum truck to clean and remove debris from sanitary and storm sewer lines, utility holes, and lift stations. -Review data collected in field to ensure quality and accuracy of information.

What You Bring
-Prolonged periods working in outdoor conditions in varying climates. -Can obtain and maintain a Confined Space Entry certification. -Requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record, drug test, and criminal record. -CDL License Required. -Multiple office locations to work from: Stick close to home or travel for a change of scenery -Experience with ESRI ArcGIS and/or Trimble Products is preferred. -This position requires a lot of walking outside and climbing ladders year-round through various terrain and in extreme heat, cold, and immaculate weather. -Willing to work in and around open sanitary sewer lines. -High School diploma or GED is required. -Must be able to lift equipment up to 45 pounds at times. -Ability to obtain and maintain a Confined Space Entry certification is required. -Frequent overnight travel is required. -Should possess basic computer skills. -Prolonged periods working in outdoor conditions in varying terrain types. -At least three years of SSES experience preferred. -Ability to work in Confined Spaces, including sanitary sewer holes. -Must be able to travel.
