The Role

Overview

Supervise facilities team, manage work orders, vendors, and maintenance.

Tasks

-Keep track of regular and ad-hoc facility expenses. -Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives. -Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives. -Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment. -Point of contact for escalated communications between landlord, tenants, and service providers by ensuring all procedures, policies, and reporting formats are understood, and implemented. -Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. -Conduct market research and compare costs and benefits when evaluating new vendors. -Review data from work order reports and create and present performance and progress status reports to management. Make suggestions on how to improve efficiency. -May establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives. -Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through the application of basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus. -Design and oversee the schedule for cleaning and disinfecting the building.

What You Bring

-Requires the ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information. -Excellent organizational skills with a master- level inquisitive mindset. -Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. -High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred. -Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. -Exceptional math skills. Ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups. -In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.
