The Role

Overview

Lead engineering operations, maintenance and contractor coordination at Canary Wharf.

Tasks

-Support shift and day teams, including workplace technicians and fabric teams -Support the Account Manager with cost effective planning and contract delivery -Lead small works planning, including moves and changes and fabric projects -Oversee and coordinate third party contractors, ensuring compliance with site procedures -Maintain awareness of site contingency procedures and support emergency responses -Plan and coordinate scheduled maintenance, repairs and engineering activities -Complete administrative tasks accurately and promptly, including reporting via AIMS -Promote strong SHEQ performance and uphold all Equans policies and standards -Provide technical and operational support, ensuring safe and efficient building service performance -Ensure high standards of response to plant failures and abnormal conditions -Assist in producing method statements, risk assessments and statutory inspection planning

What You Bring

-LV Authorised -Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal -Reliable, confident and capable of working independently and leading others -Experience supervising multidisciplinary teams -Ability to diagnose faults and recommend effective solutions -C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2 or mechanical equivalent -Proven ability to manage contractors and support budgetary control -18th Edition qualification -Completed apprenticeship with strong trade qualifications and extensive building services experience -Knowledge of safe systems of work, statutory compliance and engineering planning -Strong understanding of building services systems including BMS, HVAC, water systems, fire systems and electrical equipment -Exposure to complex corporate or critical environments -Strong IT skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure
