Senior Electrical Engineer

Overview

Manage design review, construction supervision, and QA for electrical/ELV projects.

Tasks

-Perform design review and submittals review. -Oversee junior engineers and inspectors for all electrical and elv works and ensure that installation activities comply with contractual obligations and quality control standards. -Coordinate with relevant Authorities for processing and approval of Building Completion Certificate. -Provide resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline(s); coordinate application of solutions to ensure progress on site. -Follow-up with the contractor and support in coordinating with the utility authority regarding connections whenever required. -Assist the PM and/or RE in performing the contractual duties on site. -Advise the project manager of any technical aspects of the Electrical and ELV services that may affect construction progress, quality and the like.

What You Bring

-Electrical Engineering Degree holder with MME Grade A registration as minimum -12+ years’ experience in the design review and construction supervision of electrical and ELV installations and the ability to lead and manage electrical and/or multi-disciplinary teams undertaking residential, commercial, industrial, education, health, transport, infrastructure, power and controls projects. -An advanced understanding of Electrical codes and standards. -Ability/desire to carry out coordinated design review in the Revit/ BIM environment. -An understanding of renewable energy resources. -Understanding of local authority, utility, Kahra-maa and QCDD requirements. -Proficiency with industry standard software (MS Office, Autocad, PowerCAD, AGI32/Dialux, Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat).
