Tasks
-Conduct engineering calculations and simulations to ensure structural integrity and thermal performance. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, operations, and R&D to ensure design feasibility and performance. -Maintain documentation including design specifications, test results, and revision history. -Create detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks or similar software. -Ensure compliance with food safety, mechanical, and environmental standards. -Support equipment installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer sites. -Design and develop mechanical systems for ice cream filling, hardening, and packaging equipment. -Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and sustainability goals. -Develop and test prototypes to validate mechanical concepts and optimize performance.

What You Bring
-Experience using Solid Edge for 3D modeling. -2+ years experience in design, fabrication, and troubleshooting of machinery. -Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. -Understanding of sanitary design principles. -3+ years of experience with 3D modeling software, particularly SolidWorks. -Basic understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes. -Experience with pneumatics, servo actuators, chain drives, and stainless steel fabrication. -Experience designing packaging or automated filling equipment.
