Design electrical systems, create AutoCAD/Revit models, and support building projects.

Tasks

-Enhance the world around you - from the environment to the highways, to the buildings and the terrain, WSP is the fabric of Canada. -Perform individually or as a team member with electrical discipline and under direct supervision of engineers and project managers; -Preparing AutoCAD drawings and Revit 3D modeling for electrical systems;

What You Bring

-Enrolled in Electrical Engineering program; -Learning building electrical engineering requirement, exposure to Ontario Building Code (OBC), Electrical Safety Authority, and IEEE standards for Building and Site design; -Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit 3D; -Familiarity with software used for engineering studies - arc flash, load, fault and coordination studies, lighting, grounding, etc. is an asset. -Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; -Basic electrical design, and calculation for power distribution, control, communication, lighting, fire alarm and security systems for transportation projects; -Interpersonal skills with team members and other disciplines; -Ability to work independently or as a team member to deliver comprehensive designs and meet the deadlines;
