Due to our growing workload in this sector, we are seeking an experienced associate, or senior project engineer looking to take that next step, to support and help lead this team. The role will have a strong focus on project management, and would suit someone who is keen to take a leading role. The role initially will be to manage data centre projects nationally and internationally, but there will be opportunities to get involved in other major projects, across a variety of sectors (including commercial, residential, cultural and sports) in the City of London, mainland Europe and the Middle East.

Thornton Tomasetti’s London office is seeking a talented and enthusiastic engineer with good experience in project management to join our growing data centre / mission-critical team.

  • Degree (Master’s or equivalent preferred) in structural engineering or related field.
  • Candidates should be Chartered in Engineering or Project Management.
  • Knowledge preferred (but not essential) of current industry software, such as SAP2000, ETABS, RAM, Risa3-D, PCA Software, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and graphical / sketches.
  • Strong technical skills.
  • 8+ years of experience.
  • Good project management experience
