Tasks
-Creates systems testing and commissioning reports. Thoroughly tests and commissions system components to ensure optimal system performance. Performs change orders and system-related measures following Company standards and industry best practices. -Maintains licensing and certifications through renewal and continuing education requirements. Develops and facilitates effective owner-training sessions. -Consistently makes decisions in an attentive and safe manner to ensure the safety and health of self and others. -Utilizes LEAN concepts or other continuous improvement methodologies to ensure the most efficient operations, processes, and activities. -Provides frequent communication, troubleshooting and problem-resolution consulting with systems issues. Provides remote assistance to customers as required. Accurately and confidentially maintains Company records and other sensitive business and customer data. -Provides high quality technical assistance, mentoring, coaching, and training to co-workers and other employees as needed, in compliance with all industry and Company best practices and standards. -Creates and maintains positive working relationships with co-workers, customers, vendors, project managers, office and field staff and others that reflect and support the Company’s core values and meet or exceed the customer’s expectations. -Plans, coordinates, and performs programming of systems and other integrated components to meet customer and system operational needs. Ensures all assigned systems are being installed, programmed, tested, and commissioned according to current industry and company standards. -Determines material quantities in the amounts needed to complete projects according to bid specifications. Develops and creates systems documentation, including pre-sale system drawings, system installation drawings and other system documentation. -Provides leadership to the systems group as needed, understands, and efficiently executes the systems roles and responsibilities within engineered services and promotes usage of engineered services throughout the Company. Conducts pre-sale walk-throughs and demos as requested. -Designs audio visual, wireless and/or security systems to meet customer needs according to best industry practices and Company guidelines while complying with all applicable building codes and legal requirements. Collaborates with other systems specialists during the installation of integrated systems. -Promotes and models the Company mission, vision and values through exercising sound and ethical business practices, championing all elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and providing high quality services and programs as they relate to clients, subcontractors, co-workers, suppliers, and the public

What You Bring
-Has strong negotiation, conflict management, and persuasion skills, able to influence at all levels of the organization. -Manufacturer platform certification(s) or programming and design experience for Avigilon Control Center, Lenel OnGuard, Genetec Security Center, Milestone Xprotect Corporate, Enterprise or S2 Security. -Can flex and adapt with the growing needs of the business. -Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills. Strong telephone communication skills and superior documentation skills. -For Audio Visual, additional requirements: -In-depth experience with LEAN methodologies and applications. Strong process orientation. -Ability to perform job duties, manage workflow and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with multiple and sometimes changing priorities independently and effectively. -Minimum 5-7 years of experience with the design and implementation of installed systems, including programming, scheduling, and commissioning experience. -Knowledge and skills to review software and firmware, perform level normalizations, verify electronic devices and loudspeaker operational performance, and recommend system updates when needed. -Test Equipment Certification/Knowledge with Anritsu or Kaelus. -Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, VidCAD and/or Revit. -Excellent hiring, collaboration, negotiation, teamwork, interpersonal and presentation skills. Strong coaching and mentoring skills. Ability to work with and facilitate diverse work teams. -Experience with and strong understanding of data networking and providing guidance to junior-level systems personnel. Training and experience directly managing people is preferred. -CTS and CTS-D Certification. -Strong leadership, customer focus and decision-making skills. Demonstrated elevated level of diplomacy, integrity, and dependability. -Strong organizational, critical thinking skills and detail orientation. Solid financial, analytical, and mathematical skills. Professional and effective independent problem solving, time management and prioritization skills. -iBwave Design skills. -Occasional travel is required as needed -Understanding of computing, physical security systems software, storage, SQL databases and physical security systems components. -Associate degree or equivalent work experience in information technology, computer science, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred. CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification and/or BICSI certification preferred. -Extensive project management training and skills. -Spectrum or Network Analyzer Certification/Knowledge. -Test Equipment Certification/Knowledge with TEMS or equivalent.
