Tasks

โšก Define & Manage Requirements โ€“ Review, refine, and document high-level electrical requirements, ensuring they are testable and align with project needs. Capture constraints, interfaces, and quality attributes using structured processes (e.g., IBM DOORS).๐ŸŽจ Design, Analyze & Verify โ€“ Develop and implement robust electrical system/component designs that meet project specifications. Conduct functional analysis, modeling, and simulation to validate performance. Define and execute verification activities in collaboration with the Verification team, ensuring compliance through rigorous testing.โœ… Ensure Compliance & Quality โ€“ Maintain engineering excellence throughout the SMR project lifecycle. Conduct technical reviews, provide key inputs to project technical review gates, and ensure designs meet regulatory and safety standards.๐Ÿ“Š Support Strategy & Risk Management โ€“ Participate in capacity planning and contribute to long-term strategic goals. Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and support decision-making to enhance project success.๐Ÿ“š Develop & Share Knowledge โ€“ Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and best practices. Develop training materials and tools to support knowledge sharing across teams. Provide expert advice to project teams and integrated product teams (IPT).๐Ÿค Collaborate & Represent โ€“ Work closely with internal engineering teams to drive standardization and a commoditized approach to system and component development. Collaborate with top engineering teams across the project and apply a structured systems engineering approach to bring innovative electrical solutions to life. -To undertake work packages supporting major UK and international Nuclear Clients.

What You Bring

Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level. -๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Expertise in space management, cable routing, and cable management -Previous experience in electrical power generation or the nuclear sector an advantage -๐ŸŽ“ Degree in a relevant discipline -โšก Proven experience in building electrical services design -๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -๐ŸŒŸ Over 55 years in nuclear engineering. -BPSS and SC required -๐Ÿค Strong team player with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines -Ability to travel Assystem offices and customer sites within UK.
