Overview

Develop, manage, and coordinate BIM models for construction projects.

Tasks

-Record and Report project data for case studies -Provide regular QA/QC field walks to ensure field installations match coordinated models -Model “scope gaps” necessary for coordination of trades -Analyze models provided by Architects and Design Engineers & adjust for internal use in Estimating and Construction Operations -Create Presentation material/ visual aids -Create/ Render Virtual mockups -Create 4D visualizations to communicate Schedule and sequence of work -Work with Field Engineers and Subcontractors to establish layout points in model as well as field -Develop, manipulate, and maintain 3D models for specific projects for use during preconstruction and construction -Maintain/Assist project team with COBie execution -Run clash detection, document clashes, and track through Clash Reports -Manage coordination of work with subcontractors utilizing Navisworks

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or another related field -3-10 years of experience in the construction industry with a minimum of 1 year of direct BIM/VDC responsibilities -Experience with coordinating MEP trades
