Tasks
-Oversee and execute residential service work, including diagnosing and resolving complex plumbing issues with precision. -Manage the installation of plumbing systems, including the assembly, positioning, and sealing of valves, pipe fittings, and pipes, ensuring high-quality workmanship. -Perform work while sitting and/or standing at an individual work station or office -Use hands to type, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. -Communicate effectively with customers to explain plumbing problems, offer tailored repair or replacement options, and ensure their satisfaction with the solutions provided. -Sales commission on selected projects

What You Bring
-Familiarity with complex plumbing systems such as radiant heating, water filtration, and medical gas piping. -Technology Proficiency: -Communication Skills: -Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and implementing blueprints, schematics, and construction plans. -Advanced knowledge of state and local plumbing codes, regulations, and industry best practices. -Mastery of all aspects of plumbing systems, including water, gas, drainage, and sewage. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively interacting with customers, subcontractors, and inspectors. -Deep understanding of plumbing-related safety protocols and OSHA regulations. -Reliable, Year-Round Work -Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. -Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and maintain accountability for performance and project success. -Communicate verbally via phone or other communication device. -Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and 3 years of driving experience. -Project Management Skills: -Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities, particularly in high-pressure or emergency situations. -Strong presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex systems to clients and stakeholders. -Licensing: Active Master Plumbing License in good standing, with the ability to obtain licenses in other jurisdictions if necessary. Additional certifications such as gas fitting, backflow prevention, or specialized plumbing certifications are highly desirable. -Demonstrated experience in supervising and mentoring Journeyman plumbers and apprentices, with a focus on training, safety, and skill development. -Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: -Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone -Proficient with plumbing and project management software, as well as mobile technology used for tracking projects, invoicing, and reporting. -Advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex plumbing issues efficiently. -Proven ability to lead large-scale plumbing projects from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards. -Experience in coordinating with other trades, contractors, and clients on multifaceted construction and renovation projects. -Ability to provide accurate cost estimates, negotiate contracts, and manage project finances. -Availability & Flexibility: Willingness to respond to after-hours emergencies and take on flexible work schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed. -Experience: At least 5+ years of progressive experience in the plumbing trade, including residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing systems. Extensive knowledge of plumbing installations, repairs, and system designs is essential. -Familiarity with business operations, including client relations, project scheduling, and vendor management. -Occasionally stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 10 pounds.
