Senior Design Engineer – PHE & Fire Fighting

Overview

Lead design of public health engineering and fire-fighting systems for large projects.

Tasks

-Evaluate vendor submissions, approve technical documentation, and support procurement processes. -Support project execution with site coordination, technical clarifications, and quality reviews. -Provide design leadership, mentoring, and guidance to project teams and junior engineers. -Engage with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth project delivery. -Prepare and review design drawings, hydraulic calculations, system layouts, technical specifications, and design reports. -Collaborate closely with architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical teams to deliver integrated solutions. -Lead the design and engineering of PHE and Fire Fighting systems for complex, multidisciplinary projects. -Ensure all designs comply with international/national standards, codes, and client requirements.

What You Bring

-Experience in sustainable design, water conservation systems, and green building standards. -20+ years of proven design experience in PHE and Fire Fighting systems, with exposure to Electrical and HVAC services. -Strong client-facing and communication skills. -Strong knowledge of local and international codes/standards (e.g., NFPA, NBC, ASHRAE, IPC). -BIM-based project delivery experience. -Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Elite, or equivalent. -Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. -Demonstrated expertise in handling projects of diverse scale – from commercial and residential to data centres and airports. -Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.
