The Role

Overview

Support field engineering for construction planning, material mgmt, safety, QC, and system turnover.

Tasks

-Builds system and area turnover packages both digitally and physically for turnover to startup and client. -Supports construction engineers, discipline superintendents, foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents -Verifies commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required. -Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely. -Initiates requisitions for field purchases -Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment. -Contributes in planning construction methods and procedures. -Coordinates the preparation of construction drawings, sketches, projections and schedules for workforce, material, and equipment requirements -Develops firm understanding of system and area scoping and drawings required for package development. -Data collation and presentation
