Tasks

Testing, fault-finding, and track support Assemble, route, and integrate looms into prototype and race vehicles. Specify connectors, terminations, shielding, sleeving, and harness protection. This role is focused on hands-on electrical build, loom design, assembly, and integration for high-performance motorsport vehicles. Work closely with design engineering teams to ensure accurate system integration. Support vehicle build, testing, shakedown, and track runs where required. Design and build bespoke motorsport-grade wiring looms (engine, chassis, hybrid, HV/LV). Maintain documentation and build standards for repeatable production quality. Conduct electrical diagnostics, continuity checks, and component validation. Work at the forefront of competitive motorsport vehicle development. You’ll work closely with mechanical build teams, vehicle performance engineers, and the wider electrical group to ensure clean, reliable, motorsport-grade electrical system execution. Be the go-to specialist shaping electrical build standards. Influence how vehicles are executed and race-readiness is achieved.

What You Bring

Proven hands-on loom build experience in motorsport (essential). Experience with hybrid or EV race systems. Strong proficiency with Autosport/Mil-Spec wiring practices. Able to read and create wiring schematics and harness drawings. Confident with LV systems and ideally some HV experience. Familiarity with CAN tools and diagnostic equipment. Experience integrating motorsport ECUs, sensors, and data systems. Comfortable working in a workshop or build bay environment. Confident communicator who works well in fast-paced project teams. This is not a purely strategic systems role. It is for someone who enjoys being on the tools, in the workshop, solving real build and integration challenges. Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.
