Tasks
-Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies relevant to time domain analysis. -Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize system performance and mitigate risks. -Perform complex calculations related to Transient Over-Voltage (TOV), Transient Recovery Voltage (TRV), Switching Studies, and Insulation Coordination. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and support in electrical analysis and troubleshooting. -Prepare comprehensive reports documenting analysis findings, recommendations, and design modifications. -Conduct detailed electrical analysis utilizing time domain techniques to evaluate system performance and identify potential issues.

What You Bring
-A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (background in Power/Power Systems) and sufficient industry experience is considered in lieu of an advanced degree. Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred. -5 or more years of experience in time domain analysis of power systems. -Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines. -FSA & HSA -Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical stakeholders. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues. -Proficiency in utilizing software tools such as PSCAD or EMTP-RV to perform complex electrical calculations.
