The Role
Overview
Lead civil site drainage design, specs, and delivery for projects in Texas.

Tasks
-Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by external parties / suppliers. -Overall responsibility for engineering / contractual & quality control surveillance for civil site and drainage works. -Ensures timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer. -Meets quality and HSE objectives of the project. -Adheres to project target and priority such as technical robustness, budget & schedule target -Supervision of more junior specialist engineers -Ensures timely and qualitative preparation of technical specifications and requisitions / CN / stress report / engineering deliverables in coordination with other disciplines. -For small requisition / standard equipment, acts as project manager for his requisition in charge of technical, contractual, expediting and inspection with spot support from project / procurement. -Supports more junior engineering employees. -Ensures proper communication with vendors and technical follow up of the orders. -Interfaces with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning.

What You Bring
-Construction experience on site -Engineering degree -Experience in design and execution of projects as discipline lead in -Professional Engineering registration in Texas and/or Louisiana or possess ability to obtain within 4 months of hire. -Fluency in professional English -Special application and/or skid mounted / modularized -We promote active listening to effectively make decisions and act. -Familiarity with all technical aspects of the discipline and experience in most of them
