Overview

Supports construction projects by handling plans, takeoffs, submittals, cost tracking, and field coordination.

Tasks

-Generate billing quantities from information provided by field personnel and contractual requirements. -complete any part of the application process -Transfer of information from estimating software to job cost software. -Perform quantity takeoffs. -Perform solicitations to Vendors and Subcontractors. -Provide clear step-by-step directions and answer questions while organizing the project. -Perform safety requirements and ensure that risks are mitigated. -Review and analyze job cost information and verify accuracy and completeness; address and or correct as necessary. -access or use the online application process and need an alternative method for applying -Work on project site to observe progression. -Perform submittals to agencies as required for construction of project. -Communicate with Project Manager and Superintendent on a regular basis to ensure project issues and concerns are addressed. -Communicate roll out of projects with the Project Manager, the Superintendent and field personnel.

What You Bring

-Willingness to work nights and weekends if required. -Able to work and assist others to work in a safe manner within the guidelines of the company's policies. -Read and understand plans and specifications. -Able to generate change orders for the project using estimating software. -Must be able to climb onto and up and down several times a day. -Must be able to pass a DOT Physical for a DOT Medical card (required). -BS Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering (or related field of study). -Must withstand vibration from job site conditions as well as noise from other equipment. -Current, valid Driver's License (required) along with a driving record that meets company safety guidelines to operate a company vehicle (required). -Good Communication skills and ability to work well with others in a Team environment. -Must be able to use arms, hands, and feet in repetitive motions.
