Overview

Conducts field measurements, inspections, and contract payment reviews for civil projects.

Tasks

-Inspects various facets of work on the construction site for compliance with plans, specifications, and appropriate standards -Comply with client policies and procedures for inspection of work under contract -Provides field measurements and reports for payment quantities and changes in the work -Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. -Observes general job safety practices and enforces contractor's safety plan -Makes contract payments for review and approval -Reads and interprets drawings, specifications, and standards

What You Bring

-Seven years experience or bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related field -Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. -Current NECEPT-Bituminous and ACI/PennDOT Concrete field technician -Any Level NICET certification -Experience with PennDOT, Allegheny County, and/or Port Authority of Allegheny County preferred -PennDOT ECMS or PA Turnpike Kahua #LI-DS1
