The Role
Overview
Lead site operations for large commercial construction projects from start to handover.

Tasks
You’ll work closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, client representatives and consultants, maintaining strong relationships built on professionalism, open communication, and trust. As our new Senior Site Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the project site — from pre-start through to commissioning, handover and completion. You’ll be the driving force on-site, coordinating people, materials, and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on time and to the highest quality standards. -Maintain accurate site documentation, including RFIs, site instructions and daily reports. -Oversee quality assurance and compliance with project documentation and specifications. -Lead site operations across all phases of construction, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery. -Coordinate and manage subcontractors, trades and materials to achieve program outcomes. -Mentor and develop junior site personnel, fostering a positive and productive team culture. -Build and sustain strong client, consultant and stakeholder relationships. -Conduct and participate in regular site meetings, safety inspections, and progress reviews.

What You Bring
As our people are required to attend government, health and education facilities and construction sites, it is a condition of employment for this role, that the ability to pass a pre-employment medical, background police check and working with children clearance is adhered to. -Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale commercial construction projects (ideally $30m+). -Proficiency with project management and site systems such as Procore and HammerTech. -National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain) -Trade background or tertiary qualifications in Building & Construction (Cert IV or equivalent). -White Card -First Aid Certification (desirable) -Solid understanding of the NCC, building codes, and construction standards. -Strong leadership, planning and problem-solving skills with a proactive, hands-on approach. -Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. -Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle -Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
