Tasks

-Program Budget Management and Pay Application Processing -Coordinate with technical personnel to develop construction documents and specifications either independently or under the supervision of a Professional Engineer. -Development of BF&S Design Agreements -Collaborate with team members as well as work independently to constructively approach challenges and develop solutions. -Complete technical design, engineering calculations, and communications duties on a wide range of engineering projects, with a focus on procurement and collaboration with various other Departments throughout BF&S.

What You Bring

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE -Minimum bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. -Ability to be versatile in duties and able to manage multiple tasks while adhering to timely completion of such tasks. -Excellent technical writing skills are essential, with considerable time spent corresponding with customers utilizing multiple methods. -Ability to plan, set priorities and see projects through to completion. -Strong leadership skills with the ability to make good decisions. -Constructability and Value Engineering reviews -0-4 years relevant work experience and have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam. -Strong verbal communications skills and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. -Positive attitude, is resourceful, enjoys learning, demonstrates the ability to work independently as well as with a team, and will complete tasks with quality, within budget, and on time. -Ability to work independently and take initiative.
