Value Stream Fulfillment Leader

Overview

Lead on-time delivery and continuous improvement of MSD/HRSG equipment for gas power projects.

Tasks

-Engage with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Commodity Leaders, Buyers, Suppliers, Logistics and Project Teams -Use Problem Solving and Lean Tools, lead cross-functional teams at identifying systemic causes of delivery delays and implementing long term improvement actions -Issues impacting vendor to vendor items that may delay supplier integration schedules -Support and lead long term corrective action for relevant NCR’s -Issues delaying on-time PO placement -Perform Root Cause Analysis on late items. Lead improvement actions on top drivers -Lead supplier improvement activities directly with suppliers. Use lean tools, etc to assist them in understanding process issues and improving them -Support operating routines to identify and resolve issues which will delay delivery such as: -Serve as approval representative for engineering change orders -Develop and implement framework for concurrent engineering where necessary to meet cycle -Lead execution related responsibilities for assigned equipment. -Develop tracking routines with key suppliers to achieve better forecasting of delivery risk -Support detailed action plans to address escalated items impacting site/contract delivery/LDs

-Experience with commercial contracts -Proactive self-starter -High motivation and influencing skills -MS / MBA Degree -Strong quantitative and analytical skills -Strong process mindset -Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical or Business discipline -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Strong interpersonal / facilitation skills -Recent experience working in the Gas Power Systems MSD/BOP/HRSG sourcing or projects teams -GE Program Graduate -Cross-functional and International team experience -Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years Sourcing, Projects, Lean or Supply Chain Management experience or High School diploma with minimum of 8 year's experience in Sourcing, Projects, Lean or Supply Chain Management experience -Ability to operate with global suppliers and team members -Demonstrated technical aptitude & business acumen -5+ years of experience for Power Generation products.
