The Role

Overview

Assist and coordinate healthcare architecture projects from design through construction documentation.

Tasks

-review drawings, specifications, and documentation for accuracy, compliance, and consistency; -support the preparation of design and construction documents using Revit and other industry-standard software; -Contribute to design discussions, presentations, and client meetings -assist Project Managers, Project Architects, and Senior Designers in the development of design concepts and technical documentation; -assist in researching building codes, materials, and technical solutions to support project requirements; -interaction: Participate in meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors, taking notes and assisting with follow-up tasks; -Support project management activities, including tracking project schedules, budgets, and deliverable -Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports -Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution -Work closely with internal project teams and consultants to ensure coordination and integration of project elements; -Assist in the coordination of healthcare projects from conceptual design to construction documentation -support the team in reviewing RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings as part of the construction phase; and

What You Bring

-LEED accreditation preferred -5+ years of professional experience working on architectural projects; healthcare experience a plus but not required -Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools is beneficial -Proficiency in Revit is required; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite is desirable -Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; e ligible for licensure in California -Must have a strong foundation in architectural design principles, building systems, and construction documentation -Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills required
