Oversee daily warehouse ops, staff, shipping, inventory, safety, and vehicle dispatch.

Tasks

-Schedule and dispatch company vehicles. -Develop and implement improved methods of materials handling, stock control and packaging to promote efficiency, service, and reduced costs. -Provide for the security, scheduled maintenance, and calibration of warehouse and warehouse equipment.

What You Bring

-To drive a forklift must have: close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point), and depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships). -High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. -Previous warehouse, maintenance experience, and/or fork lift experience preferred. -Valid driver's license and ability to obtain forklift license. -Extensive walking or standing for prolonged periods. Sitting, use of hands/fingers, reaching with hands/arms, talking and hearing often needed. Occasional stooping and kneeling. -Previous materials handling experience, and a background in wholesale electrical distribution strongly recommended. -Consistently lifting up to 75 lbs.; sometimes lifting up to 100 lbs.
