Develop piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), process flow diagrams (PFD), HVAC system design\layouts, facility layouts and Civil, Electrical & Instrumentation (CE&I) system diagrams
Develop and maintain red-line documents (ECN’s, FCN’s etc.)
Perform checking of design documents produced by peers, in accordance with company policies and procedures
Compliance & Performance: Understand and follow all organizational, area/departmental, and client procedures, safety policies, and directives. Meet applied time goals set for position/discipline
Select hardware and materials as required by the project, with guidance from engineers
Work with the engineering team in the development of 2D designs and orthographic drawings, piping isometrics, and detailed drawings
Design & Drafting : Prepare accurate layout and detail drawings of parts, assemblies, and related items on non-routine assignments of substantial variety and complexity. Prepare design drawings, including piping isometrics, single line drawings, P&ID’s, and pipe support drawings. Conduct self-checks of created drawings, sketches, and related data to proactively identify factors that may negatively affect final product. Work independently of engineers but confer with engineers and other designers for design concept interpretation
Collaboration & Support: Support engineers with any changes to drawings. Review the work of other designers/drafters and provide mentoring and leadership

Ability to pass a pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) according to com pany and client policies.

Knowledge in the practices of an engineering discipline; competent in the fundamental concepts of other disciplines as they relate to the assigned discipline
Knowledge of codes, standards, criteria, and design execution pertinent to various aspects of design
Advanced knowledge of design software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Associate’s Degree with minimum 6 years of experience, HS 10+years of experience, or Bachelor’s Degree in related field with minimum 5 years of design experience
