Tasks
-Evaluate risk and contingencies to be included in proposal material costing; Develop and maintain familiarity with current and expected market conditions that affect costs -Develop and maintain cost standards, tools, and records to assist in future costing -Coordinate and lead project teams, focusing on procurement, during the tender phase -Work in conjunction with different stakeholders such as Project Proposal/Sales, Category Team, Engineering, Logistics, Quality, and Procurement to develop the best and optimized cost strategy for the projects, which include materials and procurement labor -Collaborate with project execution teams on cost strategy transfer and REX (Return-on-Experience) -Guide project cost strategy utilizing quotations, vendor contracts, material costing database, cost standards and historical data -Adhere to the Company Values, Ethics, and Safety Policies -Maintain skills for the utilization of Company software, such as Google Suite and SAP

What You Bring
-7 + years of combined work experience in the Water & Wastewater sector or other EPC environment as a Mechanical or Commercial engineer. -Effective communication & Team Spirit -Bachelor's Degree in Engineering -Above average mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude in an engineering environment -Curious: Ability to pose high-impact questions, seeing opportunities in areas where others see problems -Candidate with an MBA, Master's Degree, and/or certification like CPM/CPSM, PMP, etc. -Project management, Procurement, and Supply chain background/ experience. -Expert: Demonstrate subject matter expertise in the field -Ability to provide Cost estimation on 3rd party material cost -Solid understanding of procurement sub-functions and water treatment technologies (products and operations). -Above average knowledge in engineering equipment or a manufacturing environment -Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and specifications -Solid understanding of costing methodology, ability to apply logic and reasoning to properly develop costs with limited input
