GIS Analyst

Overview

Provide GIS spatial analysis and location intelligence services for various projects

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-With support from the LI Team Lead proactively engage with our clients to identify insights and opportunities to contribute to the team’s pipeline targets and ongoing future business development. -Lead proposal preparation including input collating, writing and technical documentation. -Actively contribute to growth and successful performance of LI capabilities which include, workflow design and automation, solution implementation, and administration of spatial databases and web mapping environments. -Working proactively with the LI Team and Regional Lead to support GHD’s business goals and KPI’s. -Develop and deliver location intelligence products and services, including following compliance quality assurance standards.

What You Bring

-Have, or have ability to obtain Australian defence force baseline clearance -Experience in ESRI, FME, QGIS, and other GIS tools -Highly developed communication skills, both oral and written, open communication -Previous experience working in a consulting industry is highly regarded -With working knowledge in technical project management, bids and proposal preparation -Working knowledge in Python, Power BI and/or Remote Sensing (Commercial/Industry Project Experience) would be an advantage
