Tasks

-Oversee AP, AR, billing, deposits, payroll/benefits reconciliation, and month-end close -Assist with insurance, tax, and regulatory filings. Strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures -Assist the Controller and leadership with special initiatives, data analysis, and reporting tools that support business growth and leadership decisions -Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis with clear reporting to leadership -Identify process improvements and system troubleshooting -Maintain and enhance financial systems (e.g., Deltek Vantagepoint, Paylocity, Employee Navigator) -Train and support accounting staff. Work cross-functionally with departments to streamline processes and ensure accurate reporting -Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies -Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

What You Bring

TMP is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager who will play a critical role in supporting TMP’s daily financial operations and long-term goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solutions-driven, a strong communicator, and comfortable presenting financial data to non-financial audiences. They are tech-savvy, takes initiative, and have a desire to grow. -Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. -10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities. -Strong understanding of accounting software and financial systems. -Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. -Familiarity with project-based accounting and client billing structures, ideally with Deltek Vantagepoint. -Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or professional services industries. -Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
