Tasks

-Use Level 1’s prepared documentation to develop complete and competitive electrical bids. -Serve as the primary point of contact with electrical contractors, GCs, and suppliers during the bidding phase. -Ensure all bids comply with applicable electrical codes, project specifications, and safety standards. -Develop labor estimates for electrical crews, factoring in installation methods, productivity rates, and project conditions. -Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and historical project data to improve bid positioning. -Select electrical equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors strategically to optimize cost, quality, and lead time.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent practical experience. -3+ years in electrical estimating, project management, or related role with a proven track record of competitive bid success. -Excellent communication and negotiation skills for supplier and contractor engagement. -Proficiency with electrical estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office Suite. -Strong understanding of NEC, local codes, and industry best practices for electrical installations.
