Tasks

-Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas using appropriate equipment -Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, steam cleaning, shampooing, and vacuuming -Perform overhead work while balanced on ladders -Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent pest infestation -Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery using mowers and power trimmers -Service, clean, and supply restrooms with necessary amenities -Clear debris from grounds and maintain outdoor areas -Maintain safety awareness and adhere to established safety guidelines -Mix cleaning solutions according to specifications for various applications -Notify managers of major repair needs or building system issues -Clean and polish furniture and fixtures to maintain appearance -Spread snow melting chemicals as needed -Operate riding floor scrubbers, vacuums, sweepers, and carpet extractors -Set up and remove decorations, tables, chairs, and equipment for events -Gather and empty trash and recycling throughout facility -Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors using appropriate techniques and equipment -Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies manually or with hand trucks -Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using proper cleaning solutions and tools -Clean and restore building interiors damaged by fire, smoke, or water using commercial equipment
