Tasks

-Forecasting: lead the main financial processes for the site, such forecasts and profit plan -Inventory Management: Implement Inventory control actions and initiatives to maximize operational profitability while maximizing cash -Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data and performance metrics related to the operations to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Drives accountability for results and defining key performance metrics together with business leaders -Collaborative Planning: Work closely with the business team to develop action plans, strategies, and initiatives based on financial insights. Drive and monitor the implementation of the plans -Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support operational decision-making, such as evaluating capital deployment opportunities or new projects -Finance Transformation: Play an active role in leading the WIM finance team through Finance Transformation activities through transition of responsibilities into the Operating for Growth Structure -Cost Management: Monitor and manage operational costs to achieve efficiency and cost-reduction while maintaining quality -Work with and support other Finance team members within the MSD organization -Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance against targets -Driving initiatives (including CAPEX and WORKING CAPITAL) and influence changes: ensure productivity improvements and growth in areas such as operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality and supply chain management -Talent Management: Builds organizational capability through successful hiring, talent development, and succession planning in the business. The Site Finance Lead will continually raise the bar on their team performance and find creative and meaningful ways to build the skills within their function to help lead premiere performance -Risk Management: Identify financial risks within the operations and propose mitigation strategies -Cost Accounting: Analyze and interpret financial data related to the costs incurred by a company during its operations with the primary objective to provide valuable insights to management, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding cost efficiency, pricing strategies, and overall financial performance -Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement -Champion the finance culture changes at the plant level, aiding the finance team to operate as business partners. -Financial Modeling: Create financial models to assess the impact of various scenarios on operational performance

What You Bring

-Strong financial acumen and business partnering skills -Minimum of five (5) years accounting or finance experience; 2 years of data analytics experience is preferred -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution -Extensive experience in Accounting/Finance role within a relevant engineering/manufacturing/services company -Highly motivated, highly analytical and self-starter -Demonstrable experience of implementing process improvement/lean processes within a business -Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent) -Ability to understand and communicate financial concepts to non-financial professionals -Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; ability to interface with all levels of the organization -UK MoD & US DoD Contracts knowledge – highly desirable (in relevant Sectors) -Detail-oriented with effective organization and time management skills -Strong Leadership Skills
