The Role
Overview
Assist with resident services, cleaning and maintenance for a multi‑family property.

Tasks
-Follow up with residents to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction -Assist residents how to complete maintenance requests through the proper channels -Promote a welcoming atmosphere -Handle office administrative tasks, such as processing online applications, creating notices, managing lease renewals, and other duties related to support daily operations -Monitor and clean of garbage chutes, garbage and recycling rooms -Greet and interact with residents in a friendly and professional manner -Attend to resident concerns and service requests within 24 hours -Dust fire hose cabinets, bells and elevator tracks to minimize excess debris -Organize, promote and execute resident events (i.e. holiday parties & summer barbeques) -Assist the supervisor with scheduling and overseeing repair activities of tradesmen and contractors as required -Conduct yard maintenance, including picking up loose garbage around the exterior of the property, removing snow and ice, salting entrances, walkways, and rooftop walkways -Report serious deficiencies related to curb appeal or safety hazards to the direct supervisor for further action -Daily walkthroughs of each floor, stairwell, and common areas fixing minor deficiencies -Assist the supervisor in HVAC monitoring, troubleshooting minor electrical, plumbing, boiler & chiller maintenance -Perform thorough cleaning of vacant units, including appliances, floors, walls, windows, kitchens, washrooms, and balconies, ensuring they are move-in ready -Collection of garbage and recycling bins in coordination with the city waste schedule -Maintain cleanliness of all common areas including foyers, amenity rooms, underground parking garage, locker rooms, patios, and rooftops

What You Bring
-Ability to perform general cleaning duties, and minor maintenance repairs -Basic computer and keyboarding skills -Knowledge and understanding of the safe handling of cleaning materials (WHMIS) -Strong customer service skills -Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. -Ability to push and move objects exceeding 50 lbs. (e.g. garbage bins, appliances) -Demonstrate excellent customer service and a "can-do" attitude -Fluent in English and French (applicable to Quebec only) -Good written and verbal communication skills -Previous or similar property management experience an asset -Knowledge and safe handling of cleaning chemicals
