Tasks

As the Service & Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the contract operates within legal and statutory frameworks and meets all performance criteria. You will manage internal audits, compliance reporting, and service delivery monitoring, particularly within the Security service. This pivotal role ensures that services are delivered in line with legal, statutory, and contractual obligations, while fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence. The role also involves coordinating health & safety initiatives, training programs, and supporting the development of business systems and procedures. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service & Compliance Manager to oversee contractual compliance, health and safety, and training functions at Luton and Dunstable Hospital. -Lead and motivate staff, ensuring effective delegation and incident management -Monitor and report on statutory and legislative compliance across the contract -Oversee performance management systems and ensure accurate reporting -Coordinate training needs, audits, and staff development programs -Manage internal audits and support service departments in improving audit scores -Compile and present monthly client and risk reports -Act as the first-line technical IT interface for service-related systems -Champion health & safety initiatives and maintain the site Health & Safety Plan -Participate in contract extension activities and build strong client relationships

What You Bring

-Management experience at Site Supervisor or Site Manager level -Experience in healthcare services (desirable) -Previous experience in scheduling/rostering -IT skills with knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint -Compliance and Health & Safety auditing experience -Excellent report writing and communication skills
