The Role
Overview
Supervise water metering teams to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

Tasks
-Manage all other resources e.g. materials and plant -Ensure accurate information is captured of works undertaken -Complete Team Inspections ensuring a high level of Compliance with a real focus on quality and right first-time operational delivery -Have operational supervisory responsibility for a designated group of Metering teams, and their daily activities -Organise labour in the most cost-effective way, including recruitment, disciplinary action, wages and absence management -Carry out team briefings with teams on a monthly basis; coaching and developing operational teams to reach their potential -Be a Health & Safety Representative; undertaking health & safety inspections in and around the workplace, raising health and safety related matters with management and investigating reportable accidents or incidents as and when they occur -Regularly visit teams at local site level – reviewing progress and performance and ensuring standards are adhered to
Requirements
