Tasks

-Develop/sustain Windows SW applications used for various purposes throughout the product/component -Perform sustaining work on existing firmware’s in DFS dispenser products. -Collaborate with engineering team members to ensure project success and champion high quality -Specify, design, develop, document and test new firmware functions in DFS dispenser products. -Perform design reviews and code reviews. -Complete individual assignments defined in JIRA with minimal supervision. -Assist to solve reported field issues closely with Dover New Product Support and Dover Help Desk teams.

What You Bring

-Ability to quickly gain domain knowledge, focus on prioritizing opportunities for test automation and build -TCP/IP socket, serial communication, USB, development experience. -Ability to meet deadlines; accomplish work in order of priority. -Software development experience on products used in legal metrology is a plus. -Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent working knowledge of C and C++ programming -5+ years’ experience of Real-time embedded development in MCU controlled embedded systems. -Strong troubleshooting skills. -Ability to negotiate conflict and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of an -Strong willingness to learn and pick up new technology / project with minimal guidance or documents. -Ability to find bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code with the help of automation tools. -Good knowledge of embedded system designs in general incl HW. -Ability to effectively communicate with others, both verbally and in writing -Experience with Linux-based embedded development such as e g Yocto. -Comfortable working with hardware simulators and tools for software development. -Python, C++ or C# and .NET Core coding experience using Visual Studio IDE
