Tasks

-Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements. -Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance -Ensure work areas are safe and that traffic flows smoothly while on the job -Provide guidance and support to others as needed -Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift objects greater than 55 pounds -Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators -Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws -Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders

What You Bring

-Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card -Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse -Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice -Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record -Authorization to work in the United States for this company -To be 18 years of age or older -High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience -At least 3 years of related work experience -To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified -CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred
