Overview

Design and manage BIM models and shop drawings for electrical construction projects.

Tasks

-Interpret project schedules, budgets, and deliverable requirements, and respond to field requests in planning. -Serve as a modeler for advanced facility construction clients, particularly in electrical projects. -Translate verbal and general written directions into functional design documents. -Assign tasks, including self-performance when necessary, set priorities, and monitor progress and quality assurance of 3D modeling and 2D drawing deliverables. -Coordinate closely with the prefabrication department. -Download drawings and information from online platforms such as SharePoint and project websites. -Understand and adhere to client policies and procedures. -Prepare and assemble document sets for distribution to other parties. -Utilize Revit to produce shop drawings from 3D models, adhering to company standards. -Collaborate effectively with Virtual Construction and Prefab team members. -Maintain clear communication with Superintendents, Foremen, and Project Managers.

What You Bring

-Ability to work effectively with a design team and onsite electricians. -Experience in working on large projects, especially in the semiconductor industry. -Strong capability in electrical drafting and construction drawings. -Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. -Experience with BIM 360, construction documents, and Revit MEP. -Competent understanding of virtual construction standards and client procedures.
