Tasks

-Develop and consolidate even the most complex departmental budgets -Establish proper business and financial processes to ensure adherence to internal controls -Provide financial, accounting, and business management analytical support to various levels of management and customers -Review accounting journal entries including accruals and corrections -Partner with business executives and finance team to develop year end/quarterly/monthly business unit financial projections -Participate as a team member for various special projects or financial studies -Prepare financial presentations for management review, cost/status reporting, and decision making -Effectively communicate financial information to all levels of leadership -Evaluate business unit O&M and capital variances for key drivers -Build financial acumen across customer groups supported

What You Bring

-One (1) or more years of increasingly diverse or complex experience in related field in addition to degree -Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or working toward achieving their CPA -Proven problem solving and analytical skills -Pursuing MBA in Accounting -Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and foster good relationships with teammates and business partners -Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills -Three (3) or more years of increasingly diverse or complex experience in related field -Experience using Microsoft products such as Excel, Power Query, Power BI Word, and Power Point -Possesses and applies fundamental accounting and finance concepts, practices, and procedures -Experience with financial applications (e.g., NetSuite, OneStream, etc.) -Strong technical skills and working knowledge of U.S. GAAP -Public accounting experience (Big Four/large regional) -Experience with company consolidation and limited liability company/partnership accounting -Bachelor’s degree with major in Accounting/Finance or related discipline
