Tasks

-Take ownership and deliver the energy workstream on large scale projects with industry leading clients. -Contribute to the development of other team members. -Take ownership and lead the energy workstream within the sustainability team. -Manage and prioritise the workload of the energy team. -Dynamic modelling for thermal comfort assessments and overheating risk assessments -You will provide a lead role in an integrated project design team with other construction professionals. -You will be in a Client facing role, attending project meetings and disseminating the brief within the project team. You will need to be of personable nature and an excellent communicator. -Effectively delegate, manage and review work undertaken by others. -Collaborate with MEP colleagues and support development of energy modelling expertise within MEP teams. -Report energy resourcing requirements to the project lead team. -In-Use energy modelling and assessment -Building Regulations Part L assessments using Elmhurst and IES -As well as project-related work, the business engages directly with industry undertaking research and development studies, and authoring industry guidance. The role also presents the opportunity for involvement in this aspect of the Group’s work to those keen to have a direct influence on the industry.

-Qualified and recognized within the industry with Chartered status -You will have an in-depth understanding of London planning requirements -An excellent communicator who enables, promotes, and drives technical excellence for the ultimate benefit of the client. -Experienced team leader/line manager. -You will bring technical expertise (with a degree in an applicable field) and a passion for creating sustainable solutions. -Experience working within a sustainability consultancy, you will be looking for a new challenge within a practice at the very forefront of our field. -You will have good communication skills and an enthusiasm for working within a team environment. -You will be confident in leading sustainability workshops with design teams.
