The Role

Overview

Maintain cleanliness, landscaping, minor repairs and waste management across multiple sites.

Tasks

-Plans and organises workload to meet deadlines in line with the departmental service plans. -Undertake a range of minor repairs to communal properties, gardens and the wider estate including planned deep cleaning. Ensure that access footpaths are kept free from hazards and/or obstructions. -Work within different teams on all aspects of cleaning and waste management. -Carry out routine cleaning of all internal and external communal areas, ensuring these areas are left clean, safe and attractive for our customers; using a combination of hand tools, power tools and chemical agents when required. -To promptly and effectively handle on-site customer inquiries while communicating clearly and efficiently at all levels. -When required assistant in the removal of graffiti, fly tipped waste on the organisations land.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who has... -A good standard of literacy and numeracy to enable accurate record keeping -Practical experience of working in a Cleaning & Caretaking service -Excellent customer service skills -Adaptability and flexibility, responsible for working in service areas across the team as required, cleaning, waste & house removals and general duties associated with estate management. -A full manual UK driving license -Based from our Blackburn Depot -Practical knowledge of and ability to operate Cleaning and Waste equipment and machinery
