Tasks

-Contributes to the preparation or modification of reports, plans and designs for projects -Perform design calculations and conduct investigative analyses toward completion of assigned design tasks, and direct preparation of design specifications -Assists in the preparation of project quantity and cost estimates -Organize scheduling of specific tasks and assignments -Participate in the collection and analysis of data and preparation of satisfactory designs -Perform quantity estimates, detailing and check calculations and drawings

What You Bring

-Professional Engineering License in the State of Florida -Proficient with Bentley OpenRoads Designer -Strong interpersonal and communication skills -6 - 8 years of experience in roadway design -A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR). -Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines. -Valid driver’s license. -BS degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
