Tasks
-Assist with evaluation of subsurface geotechnical and/or environmental data. -Serve in a field support role, working on technically challenging projects, including sample collection of various environmental media (e.g. soil, ground water, sediment, surface water and air). -Complete a presentation at the end of the summer to include, but not limited to, your overall internship experience, technical projects review, favorite project, biggest obstacle, etc. -Assist engineers and Project Managers with the planning and execution of site characterization programs on various infrastructure and real estate development projects. -Attend weekly Lunch and Learns. -Attend weekly Internship Community Sessions.

What You Bring
-Ability to work for 3 or more consecutive months on a full-time basis (minimum of 12 weeks preferred). -Candidate should be enrolled in an environmental engineer, environmental scientist, OR a geology or geoscience educational program (undergraduate or graduate). -Computer Skills – Strong computer literacy skills including proficiency in all MS Office software. -Complete 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training course where required (not all internship programs will require this training). -Candidate should be at least 2 years into their academic career. -Driver’s license highly preferred. -Be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
