Tasks

-Prepares and assists in the preparation of project construction quantities and cost estimates -Review project quantity estimates, details, and check calculations and drawings for compliance with project requirements -Collects and analyzes data for inclusion in project plans and reports -Prepare and assist in the preparation of project specifications -Contributes to the preparation and/or modification of engineering reports and calculations for a wide variety of projects -Assists and prepares project plans using OpenRoads Designer -Prepare and assist in the preparation of project schedules

What You Bring

-A satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR) -BS in Civil Engineering -Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening to ensure a safe and productive work environment. Volkert adheres to federal guidelines, which may include testing for substances such as marijuana. Please note that federal regulations may differ from state-specific guidelines -Experience with OpenRoads Designer is preferred -2 - 4 years of experience -Valid driver’s license -EIT (E.I) Certification is desired but not required
