Tasks

-Analyze and optimize construction processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness -Review and approve construction methodologies, work plans, and technical submittals -Manage and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on-site -Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals -Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with design specifications and local building codes -Prepare and present detailed progress reports, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies -Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines -Implement and maintain robust safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment -Lead and coordinate all on-site engineering activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations

What You Bring

-Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget -Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or any equivalent. -In-depth understanding of the construction industry and local building codes in Dubai, UAE -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field -Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus -Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software and Microsoft Office Suite -Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements -Minimum 15 years of experience as Resident Engineer/Senior Resident Engineer, with a focus on large-scale projects. Minimum total years of experience is 20 years. -Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. -Familiarity with UAE construction standards and practices -Strong leadership and communication abilities, with experience in managing and mentoring teams -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail -Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, quality control processes, and safety regulations -Contract management and oversight practiciing skills is a must.
