Tasks

Administer and support critical data platform components, providing Level 3 (L3) support as required. Lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) and deploy new cloud-based solutions with minimal supervision. Offer technical leadership by quickly acquiring knowledge of newly implemented systems, creating documentation, and sharing expertise with team members to ensure smooth adoption and support.

What You Bring

. Strong hands-on experience into Data Platform Engineer role. Deep understanding of network topologies, protocols, and services with strong troubleshooting skills (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP, netstat, OpenSSL). Experience: 6-10years 2+ years of hands-on experience with Linux/Unix operating systems. Strong Experience on relational database concepts, particularly RDS Postgres, with advanced SQL skills. Programming and scripting experience with Java, Python, and Shell. Strong experience/ Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools such as Terraform/Ansible. Data Platform Team is looking for a talented and passionate Cloud engineer with experience in data platform components to join this team. They are expected to evaluate and roll out new solutions quickly with minimal guidance in accordance with recommended best practices and security policies. This role requires a resourceful individual, a persistent problem solver, and a strong hand on engineer who can move around various technology stacks with ease. . Hands on experience in AWS Services & AWS Redshift Mandatory.
