The Role

Apprentice learns propane service and delivery skills through hands‑on training.

Tasks

-Interact with customers professionally to provide information, answer questions, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. -Learn to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations. -Participate in ride-along and support delivery of propane products using bobtail or cylinder trucks (as applicable). -Attend all safety and technical training sessions, including those required for CDL licensing and CETP certification. -Serve on the on-call rotation and respond to emergency service calls. -Assist in reading pressure gauges, meters, and service logs while learning to complete all required documentation accurately. -Shadow licensed service technicians and CDL drivers to learn safety protocols, troubleshooting, leak detection, and system testing. -Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at job sites and company facilities. -Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of propane tanks, gas lines, regulators, and appliances.

What You Bring

-Ability to obtain Commercial Driver’s License required Class B with Hazmat and tanker endorsements within 6 months of employment. -Basic computer skills. -Able to effectively communicate in a team environment and with customers. -Good communication and teamwork skills. -Entry level position, some mechanical knowledge preferred. -DOT Physical required within 60 days. -High school diploma or equivalent -General mechanical aptitude (hand tools).
