Design and oversee municipal water, wastewater, stormwater and utility infrastructure.

Tasks

-Contribute to hydraulic modeling, infrastructure rehabilitation plans, and utility coordination efforts -Conduct field investigations and condition assessments to support system evaluations and project development -Mentor junior engineering staff and support professional development -Prepare construction drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, and permitting documents -Assist with project management tasks including budget tracking, scheduling, and reporting -Support public meetings, grant applications, and funding strategies as needed -Design and develop municipal infrastructure projects related to water, wastewater, stormwater, and utility systems -Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance and alignment with project goals

What You Bring

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with hydraulic modeling software -Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal design standards and permitting requirements -Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering -At least 3+ years of experience in municipal water and utility infrastructure projects -EIT preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months
