Tasks

-Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs), NC/DXF files, and assembly lists for fabrication. -Revise drawings and models as needed based on client or engineer feedback. -Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to resolve design and detailing issues. -Apply company and industry standards, codes, and best practices in all drawings. -Prepare fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and general arrangement drawings. -Create detailed 3D models of structural steel, miscellaneous metals, or concrete structures using Tekla Structures. -Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings, ensuring all details are accurately represented in the model. -Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (structural engineers, project managers, fabricators). -Perform clash detection and ensure constructability of models. -Maintain project documentation and version control within Tekla and file management systems.

What You Bring

Tekla Detailer / Tekla Structures Detailer -Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. -2+ years of experience in steel or concrete detailing using Tekla Structures. -Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings. -Knowledge of connections design and detailing. -Experience collaborating with cloud-based model sharing platforms (Trimble Connect, BIM 360, etc.). -Experience with parametric modeling and custom components in Tekla. -Proficiency in Tekla Structures, and familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus. -Familiarity with industry standards (AISC, BS, AS, etc.) depending on region/project type. -Understanding of BIM workflows and model coordination. -Diploma or degree in Civil / Structural Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. -Strong knowledge of fabrication and erection processes.
