Tasks

-Check and maintain Northpower equipment to ensure it’s in top condition -Perform manual tasks like digging, backfilling, and installing cables and equipment -Safely transport materials and gear to worksites. -Contribute to toolbox talks and help implement safety controls -Identify hazards and set up safe worksites following safety practices -Organise your tasks to manage productivity effectively

What You Bring

-Physically fit and be able to lift heavy weights up to 20Kg -A minimum of 12 months experience in physical or labouring type role -Valuable knowledge of Vector’s working requirements and installation standards -Experience working on the Vector network not essential but an advantage -A valid class 1 NZ driver’s licence; Class 2,4,5 would be an advantage -Experience working in or around electricity network in NZ preferred but not essential -Ability to work calmly under pressure and communicate well and proven reliability
